It's feeling better already with a few objects added...
A few new items and their stories:
Our housekeeper "Sophie" already brought us our first chinese new year gift...oh and the gift giving game begins already. These funny little boys complete with all their parts. :)
The frog was donated by friends Steve and Barbie- our NY neighbors. Frogs are good luck in a new home - they symbolize joy, luck, and transformation. We'll need all of those right now!
The pickle is from our friends Chris and Wendy aka "the Pickles" - also NY neighbors. This will be going in our minivan - yes we have a buick minivan - funny enough, these buick minivans are almost a status symbol here to the locals - they know foreign businessmen are chauffered in them. All these vans are either navy or silver - so putting something on your dashboard or rearview mirror helps you to distinguish your van from others at places where many foreigners go and there are many buick vans. I mean, it's not like you can tell from the chinese drivers which van is yours. AHhahahah - Okay I can make those shameless chinese jokes because I AM chinese. Kinda. Hahhaha!
